The world of Scotch Whisky is rich with different intricacies and flavor profiles, and one such characteristic that is often discussed is the "region" in which a Scotch is produced. In this episode, I break down the regions of Scotland: Highland, Lowland, Speyside, Islay, and Campbeltown, and I even briefly discuss a sub-region of the highlands known as the Islands. Of course, I also do a full review of Springbank 10yr, a single malt scotch from the Campbeltown region of Scotland.

If you've been in the whiskey world for any amount of time, odds are you've seen some snobbery at it's finest. These two guests embody what it means to be whiskey enthusiasts WITHOUT the side of snobbery. Ryan Mills (ThatOneDudeRyan) and Ryan Shaner (OneBigPikey) are two whiskey lovers who run successful media channels, all while keeping it inviting and NOT snobbish. In this episode, we talk about a few things that we see people do that come across "snobbish", and why those people could be missing out on a great time. We talk everything from extreme tasting notes to budget bourbons that could go head to head with some of the rarest bottles. Finally, we round it out with a quick review of Evan Williams Bottled In Bond

Today's guests, Chase and Devin from American Mash & Grain, help to accomplish exactly that. They write up articles on some of the country's best craft distillers which helps the reader to get to know the distiller on a level that creates a true appreciation for the craft. Along the way, they decided to work with these distillers to create limited release blends of some of the best craft whiskey the country has to offer, known as Borrowed Page, which of course we review

Esteemed Actor Graham McTavish is known for award winning films and series such as The Hobbit, Rambo, The Witcher, and Outlander, to name a few. He grew up in Scotland, where scotch whisky was of course the popular beverage of choice. When his acting career brought him to the United States, a single romantic experience with bourbon ignited what grew into a passion for the spirit. That passion has now produced "The Warchief", McTavish's first ever whiskey release.
